The average garage door for a typical home in Austin is 16ft wide by 7ft tall. This is the standard size for a wide two-car garage. Two small individual doors are usually each 8ft wide by 7ft tall.
Both of these sizes of doors can come with a variety of customizations; however, the basic garage door is typically a non-insulated, short-panel steel door.
