CPOD HELPS FEED 3,000 ANIMALS THROUGH SPONSORSHIP OF TEXAS HUMANE HEROES
CEDAR PARK, TEXAS – For the second year in a row, Cedar Park Overhead Doors (CPOD) is helping to feed area shelter animals looking for their ‘forever homes.’
As the official sponsor of the Texas Humane Heroes’ 2014 Forever Friends Food Fund (F4), CPOD is feeding of more than 3,000 animals a year at Texas Humane Heroes’ no-kill adoption centers, which are located in Leander and Killeen.
CPOD makes its pledge through its ‘$30 for 30’ matching donation campaign, which provides a $30 donation to the shelter’s first 30 adoptions each month.
The F4 program is designed to supplement the costs of Texas Humane Heroes’ dry food program through Hill’s Science Diet.
“CPOD’s sponsorship of the F4 program is an amazing asset to Texas Humane Heroes,” says Eran Fehily, Director of Community Relations & Development for Texas Humane Heroes. “With Cedar Park Overhead Doors’ generous donation, we will no longer have to absorb these massive costs into general operations funds, helping us to save the lives of homeless animals throughout Central Texas.”
Sharon Greer and Don Grenier of CPOD, with Ron Marullo, Executive Director of Texas Humane Heroes.
“Cedar Park Overhead Doors is proud to sponsor the Texas Humane Heroes’ Food Fund,” says Don Grenier, owner of Cedar Park Overhead Doors. “We’re always looking for ways to give back to the community and, since my wife and I have two rescue dogs (and a rescue cat at the office), giving back to the local animal rescue community is the perfect fit. We hope that this partnership will benefit both the people and pets of Central Texas through our donations and marketing campaigns planned for this year.”
In addition to the 2014 Forever Friends Food Fund sponsorship, CPOD is making many other important strides to support the life-saving mission of Texas Humane Heroes. CPOD funds a series of Public Service Announcements (PSAs) regarding the partnership on television and in print media.
CPOD will also provide the Presenting Sponsorship for the organization’s 6th Annual Bowl-a-Thon hosted later this year. Additional information about how CPOD is supporting Texas Humane Heroes can be found at www.TexasHumaneHeroes.org/cpod.
“We are proud that CPOD is a major corporate sponsor of Texas Humane Heroes and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the relationship. This is truly Cause Marketing at its best!” says Eran.
“It is so great to see a major for-profit company taking a sincere interest in impacting our community by supporting our non-profit organization and mission. We are hopeful,” says Eran, “the greater community will show their appreciation and support for such a wonderful company, as well for the life-saving mission of Texas Humane Heroes!”
