Cedar Park Overhead Doors Bowls a Strike for Area Animal Shelter
By webmaster on 29-Jun-11
Prepare to be bowled over! That's the message from The Humane Society of Williamson County, which is hosting its third annual Bowl-a-Thon on July 9. Cedar Park Overhead Doors is the event's Headline Sponsor.
The family-owned and operated overhead garage door company has long been a supporter of the shelter, which operates a no-kill animal shelter on 22 acres in Leander, Texas, where over 200 dogs and cats await adoption.
Four-person teams will compete against each other for door prizes, as well as participate in a silent auction. The $25 per person registration fee includes shoe rentals and three rounds of bowling.
"Cedar Park Overhead Doors (CPOD) is always very happy to support shelter fundraising events," says owner Don Grenier-the happy parent of two rescue dogs of his own. "This event promises to be a fun way to do it. Anything we can do to help shelter pets find their forever homes is a very worthy cause."
